Celluloid - Movie Review - A Must Watch

Theatre - Calicut Apsara | Showtime - 12.15pm | Status - Balcony - 40%, FC - 10%

This is not a movie, this is a real life story of someone who lived in Kerala, who had high passion towards Cinema, who struggled much to make a movie which would bring pride to the whole Keralites, who suffered a hell lot just because of the barbarian customs and rules prevailed at the time... Yes, this is the real life story of J.C Daniel, the Father of Malayalam Cinema..

Hats Off to you Kamal Sir, for taking such an effort to honour the legend, must say this, it was the true tribute...

Thank you Kamal Sir, for giving us a movie which could make us understand the pain and efforts through which a movie is made real...

Prithviraj and Mamta Mohandas, you both deserve a big honour for living the characters of Daniel and Janet..

Thank You Chandni, Srinivasan, Nedumudi venu, Siddique, Thalaivasal Vijay, Sreejith Ravi, and all of the supporting cast for executing their roles to sheer perfection...

Hats Off to you Jayachandran Sir, for giving two songs which could be remembered for a long time...

Special mentions goes to the Cinematographer, Producers, Writers, and all the rest of the crew.. Thank you all for giving us a movie for which we could be proud of...

My Take: Celluloid is a must watch for all true movie lovers...

Rating: 9/10
